Anonymous Hackers Target Muslim Brotherhood
Four of the organization's main Web sites were taken down following denial of service attacks.
Members of Anonymous recently hit several Web sites belonging to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.
"According to The Hacker News, four of their main sites were taken down after the hackers used servers from Germany, France, Slovakia and the US to launch denial of service attacks on the locations," writes Softpedia's Eduard Kovacs.
"'Anonymous has decided to destroy the Muslim Brotherhood. We shall proceed to dismantle any form of its organization from the internet. Nothing will stop us. We will show no mercy,' revealed a statement from the hackers," Kovacs writes.
