Brazilian University Hacked by 1923Turk

Hacker group 1923Turk recently breached Brazil’s Federal University of Bahia, a public university with three campuses and more than 27,000 students (h/t E Hacking News).

The hackers published more than 550 names, e-mail addresses and clear text passwords on AnonPaste.

Along with the data dump, the group noted grumpily, “This Database is hacked by 1923Turk and not @1923Turkz. @1923Turkz is the twitter of 1923Turk PLEAS LEARN THAT B**TCHES”

1923Turk has been extremely active lately, with recent attacks on Toyota’s UK blog, the Imperial College London, Moscow State University, and the Bangladesh Air Force.
