Shenzhen, China-based Huawei is the 9th largest IT provider in the world. This networking and telecommunications equipment and services giant has been shipping firewalls for more than a decade. It also offers a variety of other network security appliances, including anti-DDoS and IPS.

Product Description

Gartner grades Huawei as a Challenger in its Magic Quadrant. Huawei offers a large range of firewall appliances. The Unified Security Gateway (USG) line is for the enterprise market, the Eudemon line is for carriers and service providers. Firewall and related security services can be used via the USG6000V virtual gateway to implement virtual multitenant separation. In addition, the company has added Cloud Application Security Awareness (CASA) and TLS/SSL decryption. The USG6000 series, for example, includes fine-grained application access control, policy automation, threat prevention technologies (cloud, sandbox and defense against unknown threats).
