The attack was part of the newly launched Operation Islam, which describes itself as "fighting Islamic cyber jihad."
In an impressively well-produced video on the Operation Islam Web site, the hackers allege, "Islamic terrorists are active in almost every country. They grow more bold daily by western weakness. While western leadership surrenders, its people do not have to. Islamic terrorists have opened a new front for their jihad. They seek to terrorize their victims even through information systems and directly in cyberspace."
While the hackers claim to have published data on 48,000 users, Cyber War News reports that the leak contains 21,667 e-mail addresses, user names and clear text passwords.
