The money went towards replacing security tokens and monitoring corporate customers' accounts.
"The money went towards monitoring the accounts of their corporate customers and replacing tokens to companies that requested them," writes Threatpost's Christopher Brook.
"'We incurred an accrued cost associated with investigating the attack, hardening our systems and working with customers to implement our remediation programs,' said EMCs executive vice president David Goluden in the call," Brook writes.
