The Voice of Russia reports that two men were recently arrested in Germany for taking control of other people's computers in order to mine almost $1 million in Bitcoins.
According to prosecutors in the German town of Kempten, the men were arrested by an elite police unit on December 2, 2013. A third person is under suspicion but has not been arrested.
The two men are accused of using malware to take control of victims' computers and leveraing them to generate Bitcoins. According to the Voice of Russia, police have confiscated the Bitcoins in question.
