Threat Stack Goes Slack For Chat Ops Security

In any given organization, on any given day, IT professionals are bombarded with myriad security messages and alerts, often siloed in a specific system. For security vendor Threat Stack a new integration with the popular Slack collaboration platform could change the dynamic, enabling what is now being referred to as ‘ChatOps’ as a way to better manage IT security.

In a podcast interview, Chris Gervais, VP, Engineering, and Pete Cheslock, senior director of Ops and Support at Threat Stack, discuss what their company is all about and how they are making use of Slack.

“More and more people are moving to a Chat Ops world where they want a single pane of glass for infrastructure and operations as a way for a broad group of people to learn how systems are managed and run,” Cheslock said.
