There are lots of things to be worried about when it comes to Industrial Control System (ICS) security and also lots of money to be made. Just ask Robert Lee, founder and CEO of Dragos, which announced on August 14 that it has raised $10 million in funding.
Lee started Dragos in May 2016, but it was his participation in the research that helped to uncover the Industroyer / Crash Override attack in June 2017 that helped him gain notoriety. In a press conference at the Black Hat USA conference, Lee provided insight into how ICS security works (or doesn't) today and what more needs to be done.
"Adversaries are getting smarter and we're becoming more interoperable in how we run infrastructure," Lee said. "So it's simultaneously becoming easier to impact infrastructure, while the adversary is getting increasingly aggressive.
"We have to do something about that," he said.https://o1.qnsr.com/log/p.gif?;n=203;c=204660766;s=9477;x=7936;f=201812281312070;u=j;z=TIMESTAMP;a=20392931;e=i
