Verizon Business recently debuted its new security-as-a-service portfolio, which it expects will make it easier and cheaper for enterprise customers to securely log into corporate networks, share data from mobile devices and enable real-time provisioning from a central location.
By June, Verizon's public and private IP customers will be able to access antivirus, antispam and URL filtering services through its MSS platform. It will also offer cloud-based support for network firewalls, as well as intrusion detection and prevention systems.
