The UK's Ministry of Defense has admitted losing more than 150 laptops over the past year and a half.
"In response to various news stories on the issue, it has issued a statement saying that 188 devices were lost or stolen, although 20 were subsequently recovered," writes ZDNet's Mark Say.
"'The size and complexity of the MoD, more than 250,000 individuals operating all round the world from permanent bases and in theatre, and frequent movement of kit between locations in support of operations, mean it is almost inevitable that equipment will go missing,' the ministry said in a blog post on Friday," Say writes.
