Customers of Butler Schein Animal Health recently began receiving notices that MyVetDirect.com was hacked, and customer credit card data may have been accessed.
"'This incident may have resulted in the unauthorized acquisition of certain personal information about you in connection with one or more orders you placed through your veterinarian’s Website and which were filled by Butler Schein Animal Health,' reads a letter [PDF file] sent to their customers," writes Softpedia's Eduard Kovacs.
"Names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, credit card and billing information were stored in the affected databases," Kovacs writes.
