A Whitman College student was recently arrested for forging ID cards that gave him access to restricted areas of the campus.
"The Pioneer informs us that Simon Van Neste was apprehended by the police after an automated alert message indicated that a staff member's ID card attempted to access a secure area of the campus," writes Softpedia's Eduard Kovacs.
"In the possession of the suspect investigators later found a forged ID card that had his picture but someone else's ID number," Kovacs writes. "They also found a magnetic stripe-card encoder which helped him replicate the cards."
