European hosting provider and domain registrar Blacknight recently acknowledged that it suffered a security breach on January 31, which may have exposed client e-mail addresses and phone numbers.
"Blacknight recommends users update passwords used for Blacknight.com and be mindful of any unusual online account activity," writes Silicon Republic's John Kennedy.
"The breach is being investigated and steps are being taken to prevent it happening again," Kennedy writes.
