You may think your company's data is much too sensitive to be stored in the cloud, but given the benefits, that's a position you might want to re-think.
The fear for most corporate executives is that if they move their data to cloud storage, they will lose control over it and it will therefore be less secure.
However, let's take a look at the perks of cloud-based storage, which include:
- Lower capital outlays
- Fixed, known monthly costs
- Scalability
- Low management overhead
- Immediate access to technology
Given the sizable upside, perhaps it's time to examine whether security risks can be reduced or eliminated.
