eSoft Delivers Two New VPN/Firewall Appliances

eSoft on Wednesday announced additions to its InstaGate line of security appliances intended to provide VPN, firewall and various other functions for small branch offices and midsize enterprises.

eSoft, based in Broomfield, Colo., announced the InstaGate xSP Branch Office and InstaGate xSP Business appliances. Both provide firewall and IPSec/PPTP virtual private network functions, along a firewall policy manager, Web proxy and other applications.

Both products also support eSoft's line of SoftPak security applications, which include antivirus modules, content and spam filters, an application-level security module, secure dial-up, vulnerability scanning, VPN and firewall management software and reporting tools.

The InstaGate xSP Branch Office appliance supports up to 10 users and 10 VPN tunnels, while the xSP Business appliance supports 100 users and 100 VPN tunnels. The products are priced at $1,199 and $1,999, respectively. Both are available now.
