Most Employees Don't Follow IT Security Policies
Thirty-three percent say they don't always follow the policies, and 21 percent say they don't even know what the policies are.
A recent survey commissioned by McAfee and Xerox has found that more than 50 percent of employees say they don't always follow their company's IT security policies -- or they're unaware of those policies.
"The numbers break down as follows: 33 percent of employees surveyed said they do not always follow IT security policies and 21 percent said they do not even know what the policies are," Infosecurity reports.
"For the survey, Harris Interactive polled 2,541 adults ages 18 and older, of which 1,391 were employed full and/or part time," the article states.
