CSO magazine has released the results of its 2010 CyberSecurity Watch Survey [PDF file], which finds that threats are evolving faster that many organizations can combat them.

The survey of more than 500 respondents was conducted by CSO, the U.S. Secret Service, the Software Engineering Institute CERT Proram at Carnegie Mellon University, and Deloitte's Center for Security & Privacy Solutions.

Since 2007, when the last survey was conducted, the number of victims of cybercrime has dropped, though affected organizations have experienced many more attacks than they did in the past. From August of 2008 to July of 2009, more than one third of respondents experienced an increase in cyberattacks.
