Christian Liberty Financial E-mails Deliver Malware
An attached ZIP file infects the recipient's PC with malware identified as Mal/BredoZp-B.
Sophos researchers recently came across a spam campaign that claims to come as a notification of a check deposit from Christian Liberty Financial.
"The attached ZIP file claims to contain details of your check, but in reality are designed to infect your PC," Sophos' Graham Cluley writes.
"Sophos products will detect the malware proactively as Mal/BredoZp-B," Cluley writes.
