The US Department of Homeland Security recently launched a cyber security center designed specifically to enhance the coordination of data with state and local governments.

"The DHS is setting up the cybersecurity center under the auspices of the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) in East Greenbush, New York," according to Infosecurity.

"The cybersecurity operations center will provide 24-hour watch and warning services as well as cybersecurity risk, vulnerability, and mitigation data to state and local governments," the article states.
