HTC Smartphone Security Flaw Found
According to MWR InfoSecurity, an HTC phone can be compromised and used as a bugging device.
Following their recent disclosure of Palm and Android vulnerabilities, MWR InfoSecurity researchers have determined that an HTC mobile phone can be compromised and used as a bugging device.
"As a result of its initial findings, the company expanded its mobile research program and is identifying the breadth of the problem in multiple phone platforms," writes SC Magazine's Dan Raywood.
"It is sharing its information with manufacturers and network providers but says that some are not paying attention," Raywood writes.
