Hacker Takes Over WSU Video Network
The hacker, wearing a 'V for Vendetta' costume, criticized the university's IT department -- and squirrels.
An anonymous hacker recently commandeered video screens throughout Washington State University to broadcast a prerecorded message while wearing a "V for Vendetta" costume.
"The nearly four minute video, which was also posted on YouTube, and has its own website, Facebook page and Twitter hashtag, criticizes the universitys IT department," writes Threat Level's Kevin Poulsen.
"It also urges the student body to rise up against squirrels on the campus grounds," the article states. "The rodents, the ersatz V complains, do nothing but 'eat, drink and breed.'"
