McAfee recently announced plans to acquire tenCube, makers of the WaveSecurity mobile security software.

"News of the latest McAfee purchase... comes on the heels of the company’s late-May purchase of Trust Digital, another mobile security specialist," according to Infosecurity.

"Technology acquired by McAfee in the tenCube deal will include its WaveSecure offering, which provides remote locating, locking, back-up, and data wiping services," the article states. "McAfee said its mobile security portfolio will now extend to several mobile operating systems, including Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Mobile, iPhone, and Java-powered devices."
