VeriSign has introduced its new VeriSign Trust Seal service.

"For a monthly fee VeriSign authenticates subscribers sites as being the business or organization the site claims to be and conducts a daily scan for the presence of malware," according to The H Security. "Subscribers can display the VeriSign Trust seal on their sites as an assurance to their customers."

"Search results will display the 'VeriSign Trust' logo next to trusted websites," the article states. "The service includes technical support."
