Apple appears to be preventing users with jailbroken iPhones from accessing the App Store.

"Sherif Hashim, an iPhone hacker who is credited with finding an exploit in the latest iPhone software, recently posted a message on Twitter explaining that his Apple ID had been banned for 'security reasons,'" according to iPodNN. "Following the Twitter post another iPhone hacker, iH8sn0w, who is responsible for Sn0wbreeze, sent a reply claiming he was experiencing the same issue."

"Apple has regularly closed security holes used for jailbreaking and unlocking on the iPhone but isn't known to have actively targeted those responsible for finding the exploits or creating the utilities," the article states.
