Version 5.0.2 of NetBSD adds a number of key security and stability fixes.
"NetBSD 5.0.2 features two fixes related to security advisories, including an issue in the OpenSSL Transport Layer Security (TLS) session renegotiation that could allow an attacker to remotely intercept communication," according to The H Security. "The developers have disabled TLS session renegotiation in order to prevent Man-in-the-Middle attacks."
"The developers advise all users to upgrade to the latest release," the article states.
