The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) has released a report warning of the risks that come with social networking on mobile devices.
"The report details a number of threats that may affect the reputation and privacy of an individual, including identity theft, malware and corporate data leakage," according to The H Security. "The ENISA document also lists a number of 'safety tips,' which its authors call the '17 golden rules for mobile social networks.'"
"For example, the security agency advises social networking users to use a pseudonym that their friends and family will know, and not to accept friend requests from people that they do not know," the article states.
