Black Hawk Safety Net Downed
The Chinese government has shut down the Black Hawk Safety Net, a hacker training Web site, and has arrested three of its founders.
"The group is said to have offered software and assistance for cracker attacks over the Web," according to The H Security. "Since 2005, the website has acquired 12,000 members, paying out 7 million yuan... in membership fees."
"The police began investigating the site in 2007, when a number of Black Hawk members were connected to an attack on the municipality of Macheng in Hubei province," the article states.
