Kaspersky Hates Google Ads

A recent update to Kaspersky's anti-virus software has caused Google ads to be treated as malware.

"As a result of the false alarm, Kaspersky users visiting sites in Google ad syndication network were falsely warned a site was infected with malicious Trojan-linked JavaScript," writes The Register's John Leyden. "Network admins, swamped with inquiries, posted their experiences on a growing forum thread."

"A Kaspersky Lab spokesman said it was aware of the Google Adsense problem, adding an update should be issued shortly," Leyden writes.
