Cisco has announced the completion of its acquisition of SaaS Web security provider ScanSafe.

“With this combination of Cisco and ScanSafe, customer companies can expect to enjoy better protection from threats, while flexible delivery options will enhance Cisco’s ability to protect the borderless network,” writes TMCnet’s Susan J. Campbell.

“The offerings from ScanSafe will be fully integrated with Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client to deliver a secure mobility solution to current and prospective clients,” Campbell writes.
