Adobe to Release Critical Patches for Flash Player and Adobe AIR
Adobe has announced plans to release a critical Flash Player update on Tuesday, December 8th, to address multiple vulnerabilities.
The patches will be released alongside updates from Microsoft, and will affect all platforms Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, writes ZDNets Ryan Naraine. Adobe Flash Player is one of the most commonly exploited desktop [applications]. It is installed on more than 98 percent of all Internet-enabled computers, so this should be a high-priority update for everyone.
A security patch for Adobe AIR is also expected on Patch Tuesday, Naraine writes.
