Adobe has announced plans to release a critical Flash Player update on Tuesday, December 8th, to address multiple vulnerabilities.

“The patches will be released alongside updates from Microsoft, and will affect all platforms – Windows, Mac OS X and Linux,’ writes ZDNet’s Ryan Naraine. “Adobe Flash Player is one of the most commonly exploited desktop [applications]. It is installed on more than 98 percent of all Internet-enabled computers, so this should be a high-priority update for everyone.”

“A security patch for Adobe AIR is also expected on Patch Tuesday,” Naraine writes.
