Northrop Grumman Corporation has announced a partnership with three leading universities aimed at collaborating on US cybersecurity issues.
Joining Northrop Grumman are Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and Purdue University, writes TG Dailys Emma Wollacott. The consortium will take on some of the world's leading cyber problems including identities in cyberspace, supply chain risk, and securing critical infrastructure networks.
The Northrop Grumman Cybersecurity Research Consortium (NGCRC) will initially sponsor ten projects and provide graduate student fellowships, Wollacott writes. Members will coordinate research projects, share information and best practices, develop curricula, and author joint case studies and other publications.
