Seventy-five Web sites belonging to Indian organizations, government bodies, universities and police were recently hit by a group calling itself the Muslim Liberation Front.
"According to The Hacker News, the Patiala Police was one of victims whose Web site was defaced by the attackers, the home page being replaced with one containing propagandist messages and claims," writes Softpedia's Eduard Kovacs.
"After the codenames of the crooks involved are listed, their main goal is highlighted 'Free Kashmir .. Freedom is our goal..// End the Occupation,'" Kovacs writes.
