Members of the Serbian TeslaTeam hacker group recently claimed to have breached the Brazilian Web site for E! Online via SQL injection, and published stolen information online (h/t E Hacking News).

"The dump of the database contains username and password phone of admin and other users," the hackers wrote in a statement preceding the data dump. "The subdomain http://br.eonline.com/ is vulnerable to SQL Injection attack."

The leaked data includes a list of database tables, along with what appear to be 11 user names and hashed passwords.

TeslaTeam's Wikipedia page states that it "mainly targets political groups and Albanian Web sites, including news organizations and human rights." In this case, no reason was given for the attack -- it's safe to assume the high profile of the target was what made it attractive to the group.
