NL Times reports that an 18-year-old man was recently arrested in the Netherlands for allegedly hacking into thousands of computers (h/t Softpedia).

According to Softpedia, the teen allegedly hacked into 2,000 Web sites and stole a total of 43 million files.

He's also being investigated for his alleged involvement in the theft and distribution of an exam that's administered to all students in France prior to their graduation from secondary school. When the exam was posted online in May 2013, 17,000 students had to wait an extra day to take the test.

The unidentified 18-year-old is also a suspect in an online child pornography investigation, and for downloading and destroying files on other people's computers.

His first court appearance is currently scheduled for January 16, 2014.
