Members of Anonymous today published personal data on a New York police officer who sprayed pepper spray in female protesters' faces this past weekend on Wall Street.
"The group released phone number, addresses, names of relative and other personal data for a New York police officer, as well as photos that appear to show him at the protest and a closeup of his badge," writes CNET News' Elinor Mills.
"He was identified in a video as the officer who sprayed pepper spray directly in the faces of a handful of women who had been penned in behind police netting at the Wall Street protests on Saturday in this slow motion video," Mills writes. "The video shows no evidence of provocation on the part of the sequestered protesters."
