Opera 11.61 Patches Security Flaws
The update addresses a high severity XSS vulnerability, as well as a low severity issue.
Version 11.61 of the Opera browser was recently released, fixing two vulnerabilities.
"Opera 11.61 addresses a "high" severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be exploited by an attacker to bypass the same origin policy," The H Security reports.
"A second issue, rated as 'low' severity, in which remote pages could detect what local files a user has on their local machine, has also been fixed," the article states.
