Winko.A is a worm that downloads and runs malware in the affected computer. Some of the samples it downloads are the following:

  • variants belonging to the families of Lineage and QQRob Trojans, which steal passwords belonging to online games.
  • the adware detected as Alexa, which displays pop-ups.

    • Winko.A spreads by making copies of itself in the available drives, including removable devices.
