W32/Poebot-LO is an IRC worm with backdoor functionality that allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer.

W32/Poebot-LO includes functionality to download, install and run new software.

W32/Poebot-LO spreads to other network computers by exploiting common vulnerabilities, including LSASS (MS04-011), SRVSVC (MS06-040), RPC-DCOM (MS04-012) and PNP (MS05-039).
