Virus Alert: Worm Activates Game

A worm distributed via email initially appears to merely activate a game for users. But security vendor Sophos says it does more than that.

The W32/Bibrog-B worm, also known as W32/BIBROG.C@MM, I-Worm.Academia, arrives in an email with the following characteristics:

Subject line: Fwd:La Academia Azteca
Message text: La cacademia azteca (muy bueno) no es virus!
Attached file: academia.exe

When the worm is first executed a game is activated for the user to play. Find out what happens next on this Sophos Web page.
